Yes, buses provide service every day, according to the schedules established in the itinerary. The only day there is no service is Good Friday.

Those passengers who have an open ticket can purchase it by phone by calling any of our terminals or agencies.
Tickets can be paid by credit and/or debit card, cash in U.S. dollars (USD), or in the currency of the country where the ticket is being purchased.
It is recommended to make them 3 or 4 days in advance in low season and at least 30 days in advance in high season, for the month of December with 3 months in advance.
It is valid for one year from the date of issue. The company does not respond for loss, misplacement, disappearance, nor does it accept tickets damaged in whole or in any part.
In case the passenger does not use the ticket, the amount is not refundable, but may be exchanged for use within one year of the date of purchase.
The ticket is personal and non-transferable, it cannot be transferred without prior consent of the company.
From the age of 3 years any child requires a ticket. Before the age of 3, the accompanying parent and/or guardian may carry the child in their arms, if they want a seat they must pay the corresponding ticket.
Depending on the nationality of the passenger and the country he/she wishes to enter. It should be considered that the requirements vary according to each country, therefore, it is best that the passenger communicates directly with the corresponding embassy or consulate to avoid omissions or confusion.
The cost varies from border to border and depending on the nationality of the passenger. On average the traveler will require $5 - $7 USD per border crossed.
Our passenger has the freedom to stop and stay in each country as long as he/she wishes. The user is free to continue his trip whenever he wishes as long as he has a previous reservation and confirms it.
A Terminal is a starting point of the trip, it represents our name in a direct way. An agency is a strategic alliance between TICA BUS and another company, usually a travel agency or a hotel. This allows us to offer our users a wider offer in the Central American market.
No, hotel expenses are the responsibility of the passenger, this implies an additional cost that ranges between $15.00 and $30.00 USD per night per person. It is important to remember that around our terminals you will be able to choose from a variety of hotels for all budgets.

When traveling it is important to take into account that you will need an average of $20 USD per day for food expenses.
In the tourist class there are stops for boarding and in the direct service only at the border.
Yes, from the moment the ticket purchase is made by any means, whether digital, telephone, at the ticket office or agency, you will be assigned a seat, so you can know in advance where you will be seated on the bus.
All our units are equipped with air conditioning, restrooms, reclining seats, TV and video.
In the direct service, courtesy stops are made for the boarding of users who are en route to their final destination.
In the tourist service, two stops are made as close to lunch time as possible.
For safety reasons, TICA BUS does not have routes that travel all night in relation to the working hours of the borders.
Each passenger is allowed to carry two suitcases with a maximum weight of 30 kg (66 pounds).
With the exception of guide animals trained for the purpose of accompanying a person with disabilities may travel at no additional cost; it is required to present the pet's documents and permits during the check-in process. Otherwise, no species of animal or pet may be transported.
Out of respect for non-smoking passengers and given that the bus travels with closed windows and air conditioning, smoking is not permitted inside the bus.
